Yesterday I managed to get some pet photos on the site. I went to my usual web helper to get them uploaded and then I did the links myself. Am pleased with what I have learnt and achieved!

I have just spent one hour attempting to get ONE link to work. One hour later it finally dawned on me that  I was missing just three little letters and a dot!

Hmmmm….. I should remember that next time. Label my page correctly in the first place and the link will work! Am I the only one that has these problems????

I have begun adding a list of books I have enjoyed to the web page. Some of the books were easy to add since I read them often. The fiction books I usually only read once but there are authors that I know I will enjoy. I have started with those.

Well I am slowly getting to grips with writing things on my web page! I experimented with adding color today and with linking! It seems to work though the colors might not be to everyones liking. Comments are always welcome so feel free to add yours here!

At last I have got some family trees on my web page. I did put one tree on my other web site before but it was getting rather big and unwieldy, so I divided it up into families and put three on instead of one. I am still wondering what other ways I can present the data. Any ideas please? http://www.colorwithin.net

As you can see, i am new to this! If I had thought about it, I would have added this bit underneath the bit I wrote before! But once written and posted on here I dont know how to change it! YET! I add the Yet to most things, because I can learn and although whatever it is, might not be in my life, it has YET to turn up! Things change; in fact nothing is the same two minutes in a row!

I have just been out and my little dog Jaxx came in the car with me. He usually starts off in the back, but invariably wangles his way to the front. When I left my car he was in the middle portion, where he had started off this time; but when I got back there he was on the dashboard! A new place for him to be and one he knows he is not meant to be on. As soon as he saw me open the door he was off!!! I have been a bit lenient with him since his pal Otis (an Australian Shepherd with  the most wonderful character) died before Christmas. He has taken a long while, as have I, to come to terms with the demise of his companion but is beginning to enjoy life again. Even chasing the cats around our farm has not been the same for him and he has only done it half heartedly!
