There has been a gap in my blogging due to the fact that I could not get my draft copy to publish until today (May 22). Hopefully now it seems ok again it will stay that way!
The alpacas get sheared.

Saturday April 19 2008 was shearing time for the alpacas. We walked them to a nearby alpaca farm where the shearer, a person from Alberta, came to shear the animals.
The weather was not at all nice and it snowed that day… not so good for the alpacas who each had about fifteen pounds of wool removed from them!
